Three arrested in Dorchester County mobile home park shooting
Three suspects in the Oct. 28 shooting in the Wood Oak mobile home park near Summerville have turned themselves in.
James Joseph Young III, 18, of Ruffin and Rashawn Brown, 17, and Zaquann Hampton, 19, both of Summerville, surrendered Tuesday night and were charged with attempted murder, Dorchester County Chief Deputy Sam Richardson said today.
They are being held in the Dorchester County jail.
They are accused of shooting Travis Jamal Fults, 20, during a holdup on Wyatt Lane. Brown and Hampton shot Fults, and Young assisted, according to the arrest affidavits.
Fults was treated at a hospital for his wounds and released.
The mobile home park is off Miles Jamison Road near Gahagan Road.
