Both Yes 4 Schools campaigns passing, according to early returns
With just a few precincts reporting, the Yes 4 Schools bond referendums are passing in Dorchester School District 2 and Berkeley County School District, according to unofficial results.
In Berkeley County, with 33 of 66 precincts in, the vote was 55 percent in favor and 44 percent against.
Results were slow coming in Dorchester District 2 because of a glitch with the computer card reader, officials said.
With 15 of 62 precincts reporting, 57 percent were for the referendum and 43 percent against.
The aquatic complex, a second question for Dorchester 2 voters, also was passing by a very slight margin, about 50.5 percent to 49.5 percent.
Voters could cast a vote in the pool question only if they voted for the bond referendum.
