John Murdaugh won the big fish pot with 8.25 pounds in the Stono River Fishing Club’s Tri-Species Tournament. CHARLESTON ANGLER BY THE NUMBERS

BULLS ISLAND ARCHERY HUNTS
The 2012 Cape Romain Refuge Bulls Island archery hunts for white-tailed deer will be held Monday-Saturday and Dec. 3-8. Hunters must possess state-required hunting licenses and equipment and must check in and sign the register before beginning hunting. Hunters under the age of 16 must have successfully completed a state-approved hunter education course and be under the immediate supervision of an adult.
