STONO RIVER FISHING CLUB
John Murdaugh won the big fish pot with 8.25 pounds in the Stono River Fishing Club’s Tri-Species Tournament. Category winners were: Flounder – Skip Milligan, 2.70 pounds; Scott Beane, 2.45; Murdaugh, 2.20. Trout – Murdaugh, 1.65; Matt Woodford, 1.50; Milligan, 1.10; Beane, 1.10. Redfish – Murdaugh, 4.40; Woodford, 3.30; Beane, 3.15.

CHARLESTON ANGLER BY THE NUMBERS
The Charleston Angler “By the Numbers” Spot-Tail Fishing Tournament will be fished Nov. 5-Dec. 9. The entry fee is $10. There will be one weekly winner for five weeks, with tournament weeks running from Monday-Sunday. Visit thecharlestonangler.com or call (843) 571-3899.

BULLS ISLAND ARCHERY HUNTS
The 2012 Cape Romain Refuge Bulls Island archery hunts for white-tailed deer will be held Monday-Saturday and Dec. 3-8. Hunters must possess state-required hunting licenses and equipment and must check in and sign the register before beginning hunting. Hunters under the age of 16 must have successfully completed a state-approved hunter education course and be under the immediate supervision of an adult. BIG CAT FISHING TOURNAMENT

The Charleston U.S. Sail and Power Squadron will conduct America’s Boating Course from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Saturday at 1376 Orange Grove Road.
