A 69-year-old Mount Pleasant man who did not return home Wednesday night has been found in Hemingway, S.C.

A woman told police that her husband Michael Vincent Nash of Colonel Vanderhorst Circle in Dunes West left the house about 7:30 p.m. for Blues House of Wings on S.C. Highway 41.

She said he has a back injury and never stays out late. According to an incident report, she went to look for him about 10 p.m., then called police.

Police checked all open gas stations and restaurants, as well as hospitals and jails, and asked Dunes West security to check video, the report states.

Nash was located in Hemingway in fine condition, Mount Pleasant police spokesman Mark Arnold said.

Police have not said why Nash was in Hemingway, or why he did not contact relatives.
