Sailor rescued from sailboat taking on water in Charleston Harbor
The U.S. Coast Guard has rescued one person from the sailing vessel Sha Been as it takes on water in the Charleston Harbor.
Multiple units are out with the boat, according to a Coast Guard dispatcher.
Authorities say another person experiencing shortness of breath aboard another boat was taken by Sullivan’s Island Fire Department to the City Marina.
Both rescues happened shortly before noon.
