Runaway West Ashley teen located
A West Ashley teen who ran away from school earlier this week has been found safe, police say.
Fifteen-year-old Edward Vincent Tankersley ran away from West Ashley High School some time after his second-period class Monday, police spokesman Charles Francis said.
Students saw Tankersley on campus Tuesday morning, but he did not show up for class, Francis said.
Police did not suspect foul play, but Tankersley’s family was worried because they didn’t know where he was, Francis said.
