Pair charged with making meth after arrest at store

The pair arrested after trying to use a fake ID at a Summerville pharmacy Monday has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine.

Crystal L. Kowalski, 30, of Ladson, and Christopher M. Meehan, 26, of Florida were arrested after police found chemicals used to make meth in their hotel room, according to Summerville police.

Kowalski also was charged with identity fraud, financial transaction card fraud, possession of financial transaction card forgery device and financial number theft.
