Rip current advisory through this evening; Highs only about 60 today
Those along the cost should be cautions today. The National Weather Service says the Charleston area is at high risk for rip currents through the evening.
A coastal flood advisory is in effect this morning until 10 a.m. as Hurricane Sandy continues to make its presence known along the shore.
Today will be partly cloudy with highs about 60 and lows about 40. West winds will be from 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
Tuesday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the upper 50s and lows in the upper 30s. West winds will be from 15 to 25 mph.
Wednesday: Sunny with highs in the mid 60s and lows about 40. West winds from 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
