Charleston’s downtown one of nation’s top 10

Charleston’s downtown is one of the top 10 in the nation, according to livability.com.

The group selected for the list cities that have a downtowns that are a “perfect mix of smart design, economic growth, lifestyle amenities.”

Charleston ranked second on the list, coming in behind Fort Collins, Colo. Others on the list are:

3. Alexandria, Va.

4. Boise, Idaho

5. Little Rock, Ark.

6. Stamford, Conn.

7. Lincoln, Neb.

8. Provo, Utah

9. Hollywood, Fla.

10. McAllen, Texas
