South Carolina trying to get season back on track today against Volunteers
COLUMBIA – South Carolina is on a two-game losing streak in the regular season for the first time since 2009, when the Gamecocks lost three straight, the first being a 31-13 defeat at Tennessee on Halloween.
Today at noon, the 17th-ranked Gamecocks (6-2, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) will try to get their season back on track against the Volunteers (3-4, 0-4). USC is also trying to maintain its undefeated home record. After today, the Gamecocks face Arkansas on Nov. 10 at home, following an off week, and then play their home finale Nov. 17 against Wofford.
USC has gone undefeated at home 11 times, most recently in 1987. Today’s game airs on ESPN.
