Pet costume contest to benefit Pet Helpers postponed until Sunday

A Halloween Pet Costume Contest to benefit Pet Helpers has been postponed until Sunday because bad weather is expected. The contest, to be held at Mount Pleasant Towne Centre in front of Palmetto Grande Cinema, will begin at 1 p.m., with registration at noon. Participants also may pre-register at Harry Winston Pet Boutique, 1605 Palmetto Grande Drive. The entry fee is $10 per category:Best Super Hero;Best Homemade/ Most Original; Best Duo (can be pet owner and pet); Most Fabulous / Cutest; and Best Monster / Scariest.
