Donations taken for disabled veterans
Summerville and Charleston chapters of the Disabled American Veterans will again partner with the Golden Corral Restaurant’s 11th annual Military Appreciation Monday dinner buffet kickoff.
From now until Nov. 12, DAV Chapters will be accepting customer donations at the Tanger Outlet restaurant entrance.
During the past two years, Golden Corrals nationwide and locally have contributed more than $2 million dollars to state and local DAV chapters. Since the program’s inception, the program has provided more than 3.2 million free meals honoring military heroes, past and present.
All donations that are received locally are disbursed locally to aid disabled veterans and their families.
The free “thank you” buffet dinner for all veterans will be held 4-9 p.m. Nov. 12.
