One man shot to death, another wounded in North Charleston today
A man was shot to death and another wounded in an altercation in North Charleston this afternoon.
Two men were shot at 2253 Rebecca St. shortly before 3 p.m., North Charleston police spokesman Spencer Pryor said. Both men were taken to Medical University Hospital, where one was pronounced dead and the other remains in critical condition.
The Charleston County Coroner’s Office identified the man who died as Anthony Watley III, 23, of North Charleston.
The other man’s identify has not yet been released.
Police have determined that there was some sort of altercation between the two men who were shot and another person, Pryor said. The incident remains under investigation.
