Hanahan Rec Programs
The Hanahan Recreation and Parks Department has scheduled the following programs. For more information, visit www.cityof hanahan.com/recreation.cfm.
City of Hanahan 2012 Fall Festival: 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Oct. 20. Included will be food, crafts, children’s play areas and live music. If you are interested in being a vendor, contact the Recreation Department at 266-0723, or fill out the vendor registration form and return it to the Recreation Department with your booth fee.
Movie in the Park: The city of Hanahan will be presenting another night under the stars with an outdoor movie. Meet at the picnic shelter at 3000 Railroad Ave. on Oct. 26 (movie will begin at 8 p.m./nightfall). Movie will be “The Lorax” featuring the voices of Danny Devito, Taylor Swift, Zac Efron and Betty White. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, along with the family. No pets.
Winter Sports Registration: Winter sports registration will continue through Nov. 16. Basketball registration for ages 4-18 and wrestling registration for ages 7-12 will be taken. Cost for Hanahan residents is $30 and nonresidents is $50. Team placements will begin Nov. 26.
