Charleston County expanding single-stream recycling
Charleston County is expanding its single-stream recycling program to 19,000 more homes.
Residents in Isle of Palms, James Island, Mount Pleasant and West Ashley who will be added to the program have received a flyer in the mail.
The county next week will begin dropping off 95-gallon roll carts to homes of those residents.
Single-stream, or All-in-One, recycling allows people to mix all of their recyclables in one large container instead of separating them.
