Boating course on tap

The Charleston United States Sail and Power Squadron will conduct America’s Boating course 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at 1376 Orange Grove Road.

Topics to be covered include Navigation Aids, Adverse Conditions, Communications Afloat, Anchoring, Charts, Regulations, Knots and Lines, Required Safety Equipment and more. A take-home manual is included with the course.
