C of C Concert Choir to perform Thursday

The College of Charleston’s Concert Choir, led by Robert Taylor, performs at 8 p.m. Thursday at Grace Episcopal Church, 98 Wentworth St.

The concert will feature music by Paul Mealor, Ola Gjeilo, Frank Ferko, J.C. Bach, Johannes Brahms and Gerald Finzi. Admission is $10 at the door, free for College of Charleston students.

The Concert Choir is the premier touring ensemble at the College of Charleston. It has participated in national and regional conventions and festivals. Taylor is director of choral activities at the college and founding artistic director and president of the Taylor Festival Choir and Taylor Music Group, director of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus, and chorus master/conductor with Opera Charleston.
