Chamber to hold forums

The Berkeley County Chamber of Commerce is organizing four public forums starting next week that are aimed at getting the business community to ask questions, provide feedback and offer ideas about the future of the county.

The goal is learn what employers believe are the most important issues and priorities the area needs to focus on.

Representatives from the county, city of Charleston, Goose Creek, Summerville and Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments, along with other local government agencies, are scheduled to attend, answer questions and provide information. All of the meetings begin at 9 a.m.

Oct. 23: Three Lions Club, 1990 Daniel Island Drive.

Oct. 25: Hampton Inn–Summerville, 1015 Jockey Court.

Oct. 30: Berkeley Electric Cooperative, 2 Springhall Drive, Goose Creek.

Nov. 1.: Holiday Inn Express-Moncks Corner, 505 Rembert C. Dennis Blvd.
