Chickens, hens and duck on the table for Dorchester County Council

ST. GEORGE — Dorchester County Council on Monday will consider repealing a controversial law that restricts chicken, hens or ducks to properties of more than one acre.

The law came from a neighbors’ dispute in a countryside subdivision. The proposed repeal comes from a neighbors’ dispute in a more compact subdivision near Summerville.

The meeting takes place at 7 p.m. in the county services center, 201 Johnston St., St. George.
