A six-month drug investigation in Mount Pleasant resulted in the arrests of three Awendaw men and a warrant issued for a fourth man.
Narcotics detectives from the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and the Mount Pleasant Police Department joined ATF agents in the investigation in the Ten Mile, Whitehall Terrace and Copahee neighborhoods, according to Sheriff’s Office Maj. Jim Brady.
Christopher D. Wilkes, 22, of Gadsdenville Road was arrested Oct. 9 and charged with two counts of distribution of marijuana, distribution of cocaine and distribution of cocaine base. His bail was set at $300,000.
Ivan Fillmore Green, 25, of Beehive Road was arrested today and charged with distribution of cocaine base.
James Curtis Manigault, 25, of Abe White Road also was arrested today and charged with distribution of a cocaine imitation substance, distribution of marijuana, and three counts of distribution of cocaine base.
A bond hearing for Wilkes and Manigault is set for 2 p.m. Friday.
Detectives are looking for Terry Keith Clarida, 26, who lives on U.S. Highway 17 in Awendaw.
He’s wanted on charges of distribution of cocaine base and distribution of heroin. He is on probation for drug charges.
Clarida is 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighs 170 pounds. He is known to frequent the Ten Mile area, Theodore Road and The Shack on Highway 17 North, according to Brady.
