Mount Pleasant police looking for men who used stolen credit cards

Police are looking for two men suspected of using stolen credits at a Mount Pleasant Walmart.

Surveillance video from the store at 3000 Proprietors Place taken about 6 a.m. Oct. 2 shows two men using the stolen cards to buy an HP laptop and a Sony analog receiver, according to Mount Pleasant Police Maj. Stan Gragg. The cards were stolen from vehicles in the Sea Palms Crescent portion of the Marias subdivision, he said.

The suspects are believed to be about 20 years old and driving a late 1980s or early 1990s model GMC Jimmy or Chevrolet Blazer with a sticker on the left rear glass.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police department at 884-4176 or Detective Stephenson at 856-3028.
