SC congressman Tim Scott holds business conference
CHARLESTON, S.C. — Business leaders from around the state are attending a conference in Charleston organized by U.S. Rep. Tim Scott.
The conference being held Monday at the College of Charleston is titled “Revitalizing America: Carolina Strong.”
The event features Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt and Jim McNerney, the CEO of Boeing, which last year opened a new $750 million aircraft assembly plant in North Charleston.
The panelists will discuss various topics, including the future of the South Carolina economy.
