Clemson star Sammy Watkins feeling better
CLEMSON - Clemson star receiver Sammy Watkins, who missed the Boston College game Saturday with an illness, was feeling better Sunday, according to coach Dabo Swinney.
Swinney said Watkins had more blood work done Sunday to determine his illness. After having stomach discomfort last week Watkins had blood work done Thursday that Swinney said yielded “out of whack” results.
Swinney said he will learn more about the test results Monday and will then be better able to gauge Watkins’ status for the Georgia Tech game Saturday.
Watkins has 10 catches for 76 yards this season.
