A judge set bond for the man accused of soliciting dozens of underage girls online, including one in the Lowcountry, according to the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.

Bond was set at $50,000 for Justin Slavinski, 32, of Apopka, Fla., jail officials confirmed Sunday. He’s charged with one count of criminal solicitation of a minor and three counts of dissemination of obscene material to a minor, according to public information officer Carrie Cuthbertson.

The computer programmer was arrested in Florida earlier this week. A search of his home revealed he had been in contact with as many as 40 girls and had sent 27,000 instant messages throughout Florida and other states, Cuthbertson said on Friday.

Sunday afternoon, Slavinski was still jailed at the Georgetown County jail.
