Goose Creek police are looking for two men in connection with a July robbery at a Radio Shack on St. James Avenue.

Tips

Anyone with information on the suspects should call the Goose Creek Police Department at 863-5200 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.

Investigators obtained arrest warrants for Kireem Jamie McCoy, 23, and Vincent Simmons, 20, in connection with the hold-up, Capt. John Grainger said.

Both men are wanted on charges of armed robbery, kidnapping, conspiracy and possession of a firearm during a violent crime, he said.

Both are to be considered armed and dangerous, police said.

The hold-up occurred about 9 p.m. July 28. Two men in hoodies entered the store and said they had a gun. They forced one woman to hand over money from a cash register and then made her lie down on the floor in a back room. They told another worker to hand over merchandise before they fled, according to a police report.

Officers stopped a car that matched descriptions of the getaway vehicle, and two men jumped out and ran off, police said. The car turned out to be registered to the same address where one of the Radio Shack employees lived, police said.

Investigators charged that employee, Arriel Sanders, 21, of Lighthouse Drive in Goose Creek, in connection with the hold-up, according to a police report.

Police said further investigation led them to identify McCoy and Simmons in the crime.
