Thurmond gets endorsements
Senate District 41 candidate Paul Thurmond received a pair of endorsements this week, from both the South Carolina Chamber of Commerce and his former GOP primary opponent, Charleston businessman Wally Burbage.
Thurmond is running Tuesday in a special Republican run-off against incumbent Sen. Walter Hundley.
The winner is expected to face Democrat and former Charleston City Councilman Paul Tinkler on Nov. 6.
