Cane Bay High custodian charged with assault on student
A custodian at Cane Bay High School is charged with assaulting a student, the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office said today.
The alleged incident happened Thursday.
Wilber Burnette Dash of Stoney Landing Road in Moncks Corner is charged with assault 3rd degree. He is being held at the Hill-Finklea Detention Center pending a bond hearing tonight at 7 p.m.
Dash has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of a full investigation.
