Charleston police investigating armed robbery in West Ashley
Charleston police are investigating an armed robbery that happened in West Ashley early Thursday morning.
Mary Amick, 22, and John Schulte, 28, told police they were sitting in their living room at Woodbridge Apartments on Ashley River Road when three men armed with a pistol entered through the front door about 1 a.m.
The men would not let the pair leave the apartment as they stole almost $4,000 worth of electronics, clothing, and other items, an incident report states.
The suspects then fled the apartment, the report states.
This case is still under investigation.
