CSO offers free concert Friday

The Charleston Symphony Orchestra is offering a free outdoor end-of-summer concert 5:30 p.m. Friday at the Lagoon in Hampton Park, featuring music of Mozart, Gershwin, Bach, Sondheim and Emmy Award-winning composer Anthony DiLorenzo.

The “Music in the Park” performance is presented by members of the symphony’s brass and percussion sections. Food trucks vendors, including Foodie Truck, Hello My Name Is BBQ, Roti Rolls and Dulce Truck, will be on hand.

Nearby parking will be plentiful. Picnics, lawn chairs and blankets are welcomed, but no glass or alcohol will be allowed.
