The North Charleston Police Department’s Office of Professional Standards will hold two community workshops on expungement Friday.

The workshops are scheduled from 10 a.m. until noon at the Felix Davis Community Center in Park Circle, police spokesman Spencer Pryor said.

Presenters will explain what types of convictions can be expunged, how much it costs, and how employers view expungement, Pryor said.

Felony convictions, however, can not be expunged, Pryor said.

To register for the workshops visit www.northcharleston.org and click on the Compliments or Concerns form under Police Department.
