A drug dealer was sentenced to 15 years in prison in Charleston County court today, prosecutors said.

A jury found Belvin Maurice Page, 51, of Johns Island, guilty of selling crack cocaine after a two-day trial.

Detectives with the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office began their investigation into Page based on their work with a confidential informant in 2010, prosecutors said.

Page was prosecuted as a repeat offender, having been previously convicted of possession with intent to distribute cocaine in 2009, burglary in the first degree, three counts of burglary in the second degree, credit card theft, grand larceny, and criminal domestic violence, according to prosecutors.
