Star so far: Clemson receiver Sammy Watkins does not appear rusty in returning from his two-game suspension. Watkins has a 58-yard rushing touchdown, the first rushing touchdown of his career, and three catches for 35 yards.
Other standouts: Clemson’s DeAndre Hopkins has 7 catches for 95 yards and quarterback Tajh Boyd has completed 13 of 16 passes for 192 yards. Furman quarterback Reese Hannon has completed 12 of 14 passes for 160 yards and a touchdown.
Injuries: Clemson DT DeShawn Williams injured his foot in the first half and has not returned. Tig Willard (shoulder) and Gifford Timothy (knee) are not playing.
