SC DMV offers app to simulate drivers test
BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. -- The South Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles has created an app to help people study for the state’s driver’s license test.
The agency is demonstrating the new app for the iPhone, iTouch, iPad and Android devices Saturday at a teen driving event at Blythewood High School.
The app has a practice test that draws from 200 questions for the written exam in the agency’s database. DMV Executive Director Kevin Shwedo says the questions are tough and should give users of the app an idea of whether they could pass the real test.
The DMV is showing off the app at the Celebrate My Drive event in Blythewood sponsored by the National Safety Council and State Farm Insurance.
