This fall, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences will offer an array of community lectures and book signings featuring speakers considered national and international experts in their fields. All events are free and open to the public.

Each event begins at 6:30 p.m. in Bond Hall Room 165.

Oct. 18, Stacy Pearsall will have a lecture and book signing. Pearsall is a former Air Force combat photographer and one of only two women to win the NPPA Military Photographer of the Year competition, and the only woman to have won it twice.

An Iraq veteran, Pearsall has been published in various national and international media as well as documentaries and is the owner of the Charleston Center for Photography.
