Police looking for suspect in West Ashley shooting
Charleston police are looking for a suspect after a man was shot in West Ashley today.
It happened shortly after 5:30 p.m. at Falkirk Drive and East Wantoot Boulevard, police spokesman Charles Francis said. The area is off Playground Road, which comes off Ashley River Road.
The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital, Francis said. Detectives have a description of a suspect and are in the area getting information, he said.
