Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively wed at Boone Hall
Surprise, surprise! Actor Ryan Reynolds, 35, and actress Blake Lively, 25, tied the knot in a secret ceremony Sunday evening, and People Magazine reports the celebrity-studded event was held at none other than Boone Hall Plantation, in Mount Pleasant.
The celebrity wedding thrust Boone Hall into national spotlight, but the plantation has remained tight lipped about the occasion.
The plantation admitted an event took place on its grounds Sunday, but refused to confirm or deny what that event was.
People Magazine, however, had a few more details to share including that the couple’s reception took place beneath a white tent, and Florence Welch of indie-rock band Florence and the Machine performed.
Welch is a friend of Lively, who is most known for starring on the television show Gossip Girl.
Lively’s mother and sister were spotted in Charleston and according to People Magazine the family was seen dining with Bette Midler over the weekend.
