Moray Dupree Holmes, 34, of Walterboro, died after he was shot multiple times outside of Chase Lounge about 9:50 p.m., Colleton County Coroner Richard Harvey said.
Deputies have sworn out warrants charging Quoteas Sylvester Nesbitt, 28, of Mincey Avenue in Walterboro, with murder and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime, Chief Deputy Ted Stanfield said.
The club is located at the corner of Proctor and Rivers streets, just outside of Walterboro. Authorities said Holmes was taken by car to the Colleton Medical Center, where he died.
