Mount Pleasant woman reported missing
Mount Pleasant police are looking for a woman who failed to report to work and had threatened to harm herself.
Beth Walters Kornuta, 52, was last seen at the Goin’ Postal off U.S. Highway 17 across from Park West, according to the police report. She didn’t show up for work Wednesday.
Kornuta had been sending text messages indicating she was planning to harm herself, according to those who reported her missing.
She has blond hair, blue eyes, is 6 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 140 pounds.
She was last seen wearing light blue jeans and a brown shirt. She drives a silver Saturn Vue with S.C. license plate EGZ512.
