Man, 22, shot near Club Rosa in Ravenel early Monday morning
A 22-year-old man is being treated for non-life threatening injuries after a shooting near Club Rosa in Ravenel.
The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office responded to reports of a disturbance and gunfire at 6278 Highway 162 in Ravenel at 1:30 a.m. Monday. They found a group of people outside and began to investigate, according to Capt. Mike Stanley.
A short time later, deputies learned Bon Secours-St. Francis Hospital was treating a man who had been shot near Club Rosa. His injuries weren’t life-threatening.
Stanley didn’t know where or how many times the victim was shot. He said investigators hadn’t had the chance to interview him yet, but they hoped to do so soon.
He didn’t know much about Club Rosa and said he wasn’t aware that it had a history of issues.
The investigation into the incident is ongoing, Stanley said.
