Police search for Goose Creek woman missing since Aug. 17
Goose Creek police are searching for a 29-year-old woman who hasn’t been seen for two weeks.
Diane Caruso told police her daughter Shannon Caruso left her home on Dogwood Circle in the Colonial Heights Subdivision about noon Aug. 17 and has not been seen since, a Goose Creek Police Department incident report states.
Investigators think Shannon Caruso may be with 31-year-old Kenon Roderick Stevens of Marie Lane in Summerville. The two have a relationship, and Stevens has physically harmed the missing woman in the past.
The Summerville Police Department has active warrants out for his arrest after he kidnapped Shannon Caruso from Aug. 4-6, and threatened to kill her while he had a knife placed at her stomach, according to police records.
Shannon Caruso has a young daughter who Diane Caruso is caring for since her daughter’s disappearance, the report states.
Diane Caruso told police it’s not like her daughter to go extended periods of time without checking on her child, the report states.
Diane Caruso told police she fears her daughter’s disappearance may become a life or death situation.
Shannon Caruso is described as a white female, 5 feet tall and 130 pounds with blonde hair and hazel eyes. She does not have a vehicle but Stevens drives a gold Honda, the report states.
