Horry County officials identify shooting victims
LORIS, S.C. — Horry County officials have released the names of a man and his son who were shot to death in Loris.
Coroner Robert Edge says 66-year-old Amos Hatfield and 40-year-old Thomas Howard Hatfield were killed early Sunday. Edge would not provide other details in order to avoid hampering the investigation.
No arrests have been made.
Edge did say a woman who was a friend of the family was at the home when the shootings occurred. He would not say whether she might be a suspect.
