PHOTOS: U.S. women earn 5th-straight gold medal;

Candace Parker scored 21 points as the U.S. womenís basketball team routed France, 86-50, for its fifth-straight Olympic gold medal as Team USA marched closer to winning the medals race for the fifth consecutive Summer Games.

Allyson Felix and Usain Bolt each secured their third gold medal in London. Felix helped the U.S. women dominate in the 4x400 relay, while Bolt anchored a world record run for Jamaica in the 4x100 relay.

Elsewhere, American David Boudia won the countryís first gold in diving since 2000, winning the menís 10-meter platform,

Mexico beat Brazil for its first gold medal in menís soccer and the U.S. lost to Brazil in the womenís volleyball final.
