Geraldo Rivera taking Neal Boortz slot on Charlestons WTMA
The North Charleston radio station that calls itself “The Big Talker” is making a big change to its lineup
Today marks the last day on WTMA 1250-AM for the nationally syndicated “Neal Boortz Show,” which had anchored the 10 a.m.-noon time slot for years. Boortz, who recently announced his retirement, will be replaced Monday by Geraldo Rivera’s new talk show starting Monday, WTMA announced. Rivera also can be heard from 9 to 10 p.m. The new show is syndicated by WTMA’s owner, Atlanta-based Cumulus Media.
The libertarian-leaning Boortz is on vacation this week. Former presidential candidate Herman Cain in filling in for him on the last broadcast in Charleston. See the Grapevine feature in Monday’s Business section of The Post and Courier for more details.
