PHOTOS: Final day of gymnastics a big one for U.S. women; U.S. women dominate beach volleyball and Usain Bolt gears up to take another gold

Aly Raisman became the first U.S. woman to win Olympic gold on floor, and she picked up a bronze on balance beam on the final day of the gymnastics competition at the London Olympics.

American women’s teams fared well, as Kerri Walsh Jennings and Misty May-Treanor set up an All-American final today at beach volleyball against April Ross and Jennifer Kessy, the U.S. basketball team rolled past Canada, the volleyball team cruised past the Dominican Republic to reach the semifinals, and the water polo team reached the gold-medal match with an overtime win over Australia. Also, Brazil and Mexico reached the men’s soccer final and 100-meter champion Usain Bolt cruised in 200-meter qualifying.
