Former West Ashley High School student Ashley Wescott, 22, died Monday night.

Two friends stopped by to see Wescott at a house in Charleston and found her unresponsive on the couch about 8:45 p.m., an incident report stated.

One of the friends, who is an EMT, moved Wescott to the floor to perform CPR and called 911, the report stated.

The Charleston County Coroner’s Office has not determined a cause of death, but reported no obvious signs of trauma or foul play.

Wescott graduated from West Ashley in 2008, according to her Facebook page.

People mourned Wescott’s death on Facebook and Twitter Tuesday.

“My WAHS Alumni Family mourns again RIP Ashley Westcott,” @PeachCirocRia posted on Twitter.

“R.I.P Ashley Wescott gone but not forgotten,” John Redick said on Facebook.
