A Berkeley County drug bust netted $250,000 in cash, drugs and two handguns Tuesday.
Members of the Berkeley County Drug Enforcement Unit arrested Hadden Smith, 24, of Westbrook Road in Summerville and charged him with trafficking cocaine, possession with intent to distribute marijuana and possession of a firearm during the commission of a violent crime, according to Sheriff’s Office spokesman Dan Moon. Agents seized the cash, guns, 17 grams of cocaine, more than four pounds of pot, Moon said.
Smith is being held in the Berkeley County detention center, with a bond hearing set for 7 p.m. Thursday.
