Small earthquake recorded in Summerville
A small earthquake shook Summerville and surrounding areas overnight Tuesday.
The United States Geological Survey recorded the quake as having a 2.8 magnitude at 12:53 a.m.
The quakes’ epicenter was about 3 miles from Summerville, 4 miles from Ladson and 9 miles from the Goose Creek area.
