Rick Redden, regional president of Wells Fargo in South Carolina, has been installed as the 112th chairman of the South Carolina Bankers Association for the 2012-2013 fiscal year.
The association represents 82 financial institutions in the state.
Mount Pleasant architect Stephen A. Russell has been elected chairman of the S.C. Board of Architectural Examiners. Also, C. Tyson Nettles, a Charleston attorney, was elected vice chairman.
Charleston certified public accountants Melissa Barbour, Damon Hilton and Doug Torchio have been named to the S.C. Association of CPAs’ Young CPAs Leadership Cabinet. Barbour is with Streetman Jones & Powers LLC; Hilton is with the College of Charleston. Torchio is with JohnsonLambert & Co. LLP.
Jeff Irvine of Grubb & Ellis|WRS represented the tenant, CARS Inc., in leasing a 1,400-square-foot retail space at 2500 Clements Ferry Road, Charleston.

Patrick O’Donnell, chief of the planning and environmental branch at the Army Corps of Engineers’ Charleston District, has received the Commander’s Award for Civilian Service.
Ashley Rogers of the corporate communications office at the Army Corps of Engineers’ Charleston District, has received the Army Achievement Medal for Civilian Service.
Edward Robinson of The Beach Co. represented the landlord in leasing an executive office space at 211 King St., Charleston, to Peyton C. Robinson Jr.
Ryan Welch and Thomas G. Buist Jr. of Lee & Associates represented the landlord in leasing 5,200 square feet of office and warehouse space at 1032 Legrand Blvd., Charleston, to Sperry Tents Southeast of South Carolina.
Gregg Legerton of Avison Young represented the landlord in leasing a 7,017-square-foot office building at 347 Folly Road, Charleston. Steve Bailey of Adams and Wilson Development represented the tenant, McAlister-Smith Funeral Homes.
Jeremy Willits and Jon Chalfie of Avison Young represented the landlord in leasing an office at 3 Broad St., Charleston, to Charleston Wedding Service.
Jenny Bush, general manager of Cummins Marine in North Charleston, has been named to the board of directors of Wounded Nature-Working Veterans.
