Sheriff’s Office seeks help identifying robber of Johns Island Walgreens

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office released this image of a male suspect in the July 22 robbery of Walgreens, at 3621 Savannah Hwy.

The Charleston County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help identifying a man who robbed a Walgreens on Johns Island.

The man entered the store, at 3621 Savannah Highway, shortly before 8 p.m. Sunday, handed a note to employees and demanded money, spokesman Jim Brady said.

The suspect was described as a white man about 6 feet, 1 inch tall and weighing about 240 pounds.

He wore a blue T-shirt with “Security” written across the chest, a baseball cap and sunglasses.

Anyone with information in this case is asked to contact the Sheriff’s Office at 202-1700 or Crime Stoppers at 554-1111.
