Local pair shine in girls lacrosse
Taylor Rice and Hunter Leckonby triumphed in the Regional Select Division of the Braveheart competition during the deBeer Heatwave Lacrosse Tournament in Floriday.
Rice, who attends Bishop England High School, and Leckonby, who attends Academic Magnet High School, both play for the Dixie Chix travel lacrosse team.
Braveheart is a one-on-one competition with a midfielder and a goalie participating. The midfielders face off and go one on one full field until one scores.
